It's one of those days

It’s one of those days
When nothing goes your way
You wake up early but you are late
Everything becomes a mistake and it looks like fate.
You want to shower but water got cold
You can’t get a hold
Of your favorite jeans
Coz chaos is in your genes
You settle for a dress that was not in your mood
You are hungry but there is no time for food
Everyone becomes your enemy
Plus you’re in your Pz
The universe conspires to run you mad
Irony is driving the ride
And time is not on your side.
traffic lights die at your sight...
It’s one of those days
When they can slide philosophy in their behind
Coz you are dealing with too much bullshit for your mind!
Your alphabet stops at F
So you wish everyone was deaf
Clearly it is one of those days
You are just in dismay
Coz just when you think it can’t be worse
The next shit falls on your face with more force.
All you wish for is to go home and relax
Coz your shit-tolerance meter says max
So when you get one last for the road
Thinking someone should applaud
Your skills to download stress without uploading fists
You get home and the door is closed, still you resist
But when you get in there is no electricity.
And the last joke from adversity
There no money on your phone
Yeah I had one of those days.
That is why I thank God for music
Without it I would have gone sick
Ali farka Toure will help me sleep
As long as my battery lasts.
Tomorrow is another day

I have to say no sir.

This one is for my brother; this one is for my friend
He is a husband, he’s a father
He is a hardworking man
Talented and respected
With a big humble heart,
Filled with love and art.

We felt free because we believed
Now we are told we are free
And that we need to believe.

I am sorry my friend
I was there until the end.
Couldn’t raise a finger
Couldn’t raise my voice either
Now I got to live with my tail between my legs
Mister that’s what you did to a sister!
I am going to call you sir
But please don’t touch my brother!
If for real he did bother
Please take him to the corner
Show him some good manners
And be a better man.

We look up to you sir
You wear the suit of courage
You cannot cause any damage
We look up to you sir!

I feel so sad
When I see a man of honor act so bad
A man I should respect, an elder,
The one that should know better.
The suit is a prison
Once you wear it you owe the population
To make no abomination
Because your incrimination
Stains more than one person.

Reassure me, don’t pressure me
You got to stay pure
Secure me, don’t brutalize me
Sensitize me, don’t traumatize me,
No no sir
No sir
No, no, no, no, no
I have to tell you no sir.
